Our office at the mill
I share an office at Hobart's City Mill with two colleagues: a graphic designer and a resume writer. We call our office Lightbox42.
Gibson's flour mill was the largest and longest-running milling operation in Tasmania, thanks to its superior engineering and waterfront location. In 1985, the mill began its transformation into a restaurant, cafe and offices. A very handy gin bar now nestles downstairs. The building features a four-storey central courtyard with grain-bin wall. Bits of milling mechanisms - flywheels, shafts and Archimedes screws - remain: inside and outside the offices! |
