Why feed the wobbegong?

The late Sir Joh Bjelke Peterson likened media conferences to feeding the chooks. Another name for the process is feeding the sharks. I chose feed the wobbegong because:
  • having worked as a journalist and communication advisor, I appreciate both sides of the feeding frenzy;
  • wobbegongs are extraordinarily beautiful and their vulnerability typifies the need to understand and value Australia's marine life;
  • wobbegong has a certain ring to it; and
  • it's really difficult to come up with a unique name for a website.
